Krafton India Esports has officially revealed the full format of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2026. The highly anticipated tournament will be played from 6 May to 21 June, featuring 64 invited teams, including names like Godlike Esports, Team Apex Gaming, Team Soul, Orangutan, and more. In this article, we have explained the BMPS 2026 format in detail.

BMPS 2026 Format and Dates Revealed

Qualifiers Stage: 6 to 31 May

The BMPS 2026 tournament will start with the Qualifiers Stage from May 6 to May 31, 2026. In this stage, 64 invited teams will play across 4 rounds and 16 matchdays. All teams will be divided into 4 groups with 16 teams in each group. Every team will play 24 matches in total, which means 6 matches in each round. A promotion and relegation system will also be used in this stage. After all 4 rounds are completed, teams will be ranked based on their performance.

Survival Stage: 2 to 5 June

Survival Stage which will take place from June 2 to June 5, 2026. A total of 32 teams will play in this stage for 4 matchdays. These teams will come from different groups and rounds of the qualifiers. They will be divided into 4 groups with 8 teams in each group and will play in a round-robin format. Each team will play 12 matches. At the end, the top 8 teams will move to the Semi Finals, while the remaining 24 teams will be eliminated.

Semi Finals: 9 to 12 June

The Semi Finals will be held from June 9 to June 12, 2026. In this stage, 24 teams will compete for 4 matchdays. These teams will be divided into 3 groups with 8 teams in each group. The format will be double round-robin, and each team will play 16 matches. After all matches, the top 6 teams will qualify directly for the Grand Finals. Teams ranked from 7th to 22nd will move to the Last Chance stage, while the bottom 2 teams will be eliminated.

Last Chance: 13 to 14 June

The Last Chance stage will take place from June 13 to June 14, 2026. A total of 16 teams will play in this stage for 2 matchdays, with 6 matches each day making it 12 matches in total. Only the top 2 teams from this stage will qualify for the Grand Finals, and the other 14 teams will be eliminated.

Grand Finals: 19 to 21 June

Grand Finals will be played from June 19 to June 21, 2026 at the Jaipur Convention Center in India. A total of 16 teams will compete in this final stage for 3 matchdays. These teams will include 8 teams from Qualifiers Group A, 6 teams from Semi Finals, and 2 teams from Last Chance. There will be 18 matches in total, with 6 matches played each day to decide the champion.
