The Free Fire MAX Asia Invitational (FFMAI) 2026 is set to kick off on 8 May with its first stage, South Asia Play-ins. A total of 18 invited teams, including Godlike Esports, Total Gaming Esports, MAX Esports, Total Winners Esports, and more, will compete for top-8 slots in the Main Event. FFMAI 2026 Spring South Asia Play-ins: Dates, Format, and Teams

FFMAI 2026 Spring SA Play-ins will take place from May 8 to May 10, 2026. A total of 18 invited teams will play in the tournament. The event will feature 8 teams from FFMIC 2026 Spring, along with 5 teams from Bangladesh, 3 teams from Pakistan, and 2 teams from Nepal. This tournament will give teams a chance to qualify for the main event.

All 18 teams are divided into 3 groups with 6 teams in each group. The tournament will have 18 matches played across 3 matchdays. Every team will play a total of 12 matches during the competition. After all matches are completed, the top 8 teams in the standings will qualify for the Main Event.

Garena officially announced the Free Fire MAX Asia Invitational (FFMAI) 2026. The tournament will be played from 8 to 17 May 2026.

The tournament was revealed during the last day of the Free Fire MAX India Cup 2026 Knockout Stage. Additionally, Garena has announced that the top 9 teams from the FFMIC 2026 Spring got direct slots in the FFMAI 2026 Spring.

Free Fire MAX Asia Invitational is a multinational event where top teams from the Asia region compete for the one title. Last time it happened online, a total of eight countries participated, including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
