PUBG Mobile has announced two slots for India in the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2026. Notably, Krafton had confirmed only one slot for India at PMWC 2026 in their roadmap last year, but PUBG Mobile has doubled the slot of India in one of the biggest events of the game.
India Gets Extra Slot at PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 After 2025 Campaign
On Tuesday, PUBG Mobile Esports announced 2 slots for India in the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026. Last year, the country got only 1 slot through the BMPS, and Krafton India has also confirmed only one slot for India this year as well in their roadmap. However, PUBG Mobile has doubled the slots for India from 1 to 2.
Last year, Team AryanxTMG, the BMPS 2025 champion, got the chance to represent India at the PMWC 2025 at the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The team finished 22nd in that tournament.

The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 will take place from 6 to 16 August in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, featuring 32 teams competing for a $3,000,000 prize pool and a prestigious title.
With the PMWC, India has also got 3 more slots in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2026. 1 slot will be a direct slot for the region, while for the remaining two slots, the Indian teams will have to fight against South Korean and Japanese teams in BMIC 2026.
