The highly anticipated PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 at the Esports World Cup 2026 is set to kick off on 6 August in Paris featuring top 32 teams from all around the world. Two Indian teams, Godlike Esports and Orangutan is aprticiapating in the PMWC 2026 as well. In this article we are going to cover the PMWC 2026 dates, teams, format, and other details.

PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026: Dates and Format

The PMWC 2026 will take place from 6 to 16 August in Paris. A total of 32 teams from all around the world will compete for the prestigious trophy and $3,000,000 prizepool.

The tournamnet is divided into three different stages including Group Stage, Survival Stage and Grand Finals.

Group Stage will take place from 6 to 9 August featuring 32 teams. These teams will be divided into 2 groups of 16 teams in each group. Each group will play a total of 6 matches and after all the game the top 5 teams from both groups will directly qualified for the Grand Finals. The 6th to 13th rank teams will advance to the Survival Stage while bottom 3 teams from each group will be eliminated from the tournament.

Survival Stage will be played on 11 and 12 August where the 16 teams from Group Stage will play a total of 12 matches acriss 2 days. After all 12 games, the top 6 teams from the overall standings will qualify for the Grand Finals while rest of bottom 8 teams will be eliminated from the tournament. This is how we will get our all 16 finalist.

PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 Grand Finals will be played from 14 to 16 August where 16 teams (12 from Group Stage and 4 from Survival Stage) will play maximum of 18 matches (6 games per day). The smash rule will be applied on Day 3 to decide the winner.
