True Rippers Part Ways with BGMI Roster
On Wednesday, 22 April 2026, True Rippers posted an emotional farewell video of their Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) lineup, including players Jelly, Hydro, Kio, and Harsh.
According to the report, the whole lineup will now join the newly launched Team Apex Gaming of Jonathan.
This move was supposed to happen earlier, but the negotiations of the buyout amount were ongoing, and now, according to "letsgrowesports," it has been finalized at 10 lakh INR for the whole lineup.

This is an absolute steal for Team Apex Gaming and Jonathan, as this roster performed outstandingly well in 2025. They finished 2nd in the BGMI International Cup, represented India at the PMGC, and secured a podium finish in the Chennai Esports Global Championship.
Additionally, Jelly played with Jonathan for around a year when he was the captain of Godlike Esports from 2023 to 2024. However, his performance as a captain and as a player was not up to the mark in Godlike Esports.
With Jonathan, Hydro is going to be the frontline assaulter of the team. 2025 has been a breakout season for Hydro, where he became the MVP of the BGMI Masters Series Season 4 and Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025.
KioLmao is also a great addition to the team. He provides a lot of flexibility to the roster. At last, Harsh Negi, aka Harsh, is also a great assaulter who brings a lot of experience and firepower to this team.
Now, Team Apex Gaming is set to announce this roster officially soon, before 26 April 2026, when the BGMI player transfer window is closing.
