After their opening Euro 2020 defeat by France, Germans bounced back in style as they smashed four goals past the defending champions Portugal and also put the fate of their last 16 qualification back in their own hands. All teams in Group F still have everything to play for in a thrilling finale. France top the group on four points while Germany and Portugal both have three points and they will need at least a draw on the final day to stand any chance of progressing. While Hungary will need a win against Germany, which could see them through.

Team News:

Germany forward Thomas Mueller looks set to miss Wednesday's match against Hungary with a knee injury after again sitting out team training. Leroy Sane could replace Muller in attack. Mats Hummels also has a knee issue but could still feature.

Experienced striker Adam Szalai will need to be assessed after coming off in the first half against France following a knock to the head.

Key Players

Germany’s impressive 4-2 win over Portugal has blown the Group F wide open, keeping in mind that France dropped points against Hungary on matchday two. Germany are likely to play the same 3-4-3 system they have been using for a long time under Joachim Low. Low has no shortage of attacking options with a power-packed forward line consisting of some of world’s best attackers. Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane and Kai Havertz look set to start against Hungary.

Kai Havertz enjoyed an excellent season with Chelsea as he scored the winning goal in Champions League final against Manchester City and he will surely be a danger to the Hungary defence. Meanwhile, Hungary will hope that they can replicate their performance from the last game where they drew 1-1 against world champions France. The best captain and vice-captain choices for this match will be Gundogan, Kroos, Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane and Kai Havertz.
