Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni announced retirement from international cricket on August 15 2020 but his die-hard fan are still hoping to see him play in the Blue Jersey. August 15, 2022 marks two years of his retirement but MSD fans are still commenting on the legendary cricketer's retirement video on his Instagram account.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the most successful Indian skipper in history. He led Team India to victory in the three most prestigious ICC Trophies- the 2007 T20 World Cup, the ODI World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2013.

The retirement video of MS Dhoni on Instagram has garnered over 5.2 crore views as the fans are still commenting on the video even after two years of his announcement. The Chennai Super Kings skipper shared the video on social media on August 15, 2020. He captioned it: "Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired."

MS Dhoni played 350 one-day international matches and scored 10,773 runs at an average of 50.57. In addition, the Ranchi-born cricketer scored 4,876 runs in 90 Test matches he played for India and scored 1,617 runs in 98 Twenty20 International games.
