The Event Managers Cricket League is now approaching its business end. On Day 4 of the T20 competition, there were another 3 matches that were held. In the first fixture of the day at the KGF Cricket Ground, Jaisinghpura, Kakdoda, Jaipur between JC XI and Event Yoddhaaz Entertainment, it was the Yoddhaaz Entertainment side who registered a comfortable 68-run win.

Although it was JC XI who won the toss & elected to field first, they couldn't restrict Event Yoddhaaz Entertainment to a modest total. Instead, the side batting first ended up piling 181/9 in their 20 overs. Deepak Kakkad 39 (19), Ravi Meena 29 (17) and Karan Dhamonia 26 (18) were the star performers.

In response, JC XI were bowled out for 113. Dhamonia, who had chipped in with 26 runs with the bat, scalped 4 wickets for 21 runs and was adjudged the Player of the Match. Alen's 28 from 19 balls and Jitesh Chawla's spell of 3/32 were some of the positives for the losing side.

In the second match of the day, JJ Club won the toss & elected to bat. It was a 10-overs per innings contest and JJ Club put on 112/3 in their allotted quota. Gaurav Gaur scored a sensational half-century and made 54 from 25 balls.

Glitz Travel, who were forced to chase after losing the toss, could only muster 62/4 in their 10 overs. Meghraj Tiwari and Aryan Jangid made 20 and 19 runs respectively but they were not enough in front of a huge total.

In what was the final fixture of the day, Eventon won the toss & elected to bat and would have even thought that they have put on a good score on the board after posting 194/8 with the help of Gaurav Sachdeva's blistering knock of 62 runs from 22 balls. However, EMCL XI were up to the task and chased down the total in 16.3 overs. Rahul Pareek made 36 from 13, Surendra Singh chipped in with 34 off 9 and Nishant scored 32 off 11.

In a high-scoring affair, EMCL XI's Viren Singh and Vedant Sharma ended up with identical figures of 2/24 while Eventon's Gaurav Sachdeva 2/21 was also impressive.

With this, the semi-final line-up is now ready with Eventon up against Fairmont in the first knockout game and EMCL XI against Event Yoddhaaz Entertainment in the second semi-final. The winner of semifinal 1 and semifinal 2 will meet in the summit clash. All three fixtures are scheduled to happen on April 5.
