It's a big day in world of cricket as Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders lock horns with each other in the IPL 2021 Final to clinch the prestigious trophy in Dubai. As expected, fans could not control their excitement ahead of the game especially with one of the legends of Indian cricket in form of MS Dhoni set to take his 10th appearance in the finals of the tournament.
The record just speaks volumes considering the fact that it is only the 15th edition of the tournament. The love for Thala is immense in India and social media was flooded with posts as fans sent their good wishes to the CSK captain. However, the 40-year-old had lot of praises from a very unexpected source ahead of the big game.
Salman Khan expresses his admiration for MS Dhoni
Famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan had been invited as guest on Star Sports' pre-show of IPL 2021. While hailing Dhoni as blockbuster, the 55-year-old was full of praise for the CSK captain for scripting a remarkable turnaround this season after their early ouster from IPL 2020.
Salman said, "Last year sabse pehle out hone ke baad sabne kaha 'done with' and he (Dhoni) has proved everyone wrong. Every time jo bolega that Dhoni is done with, Dhoni will only prove you wrong... He is in the finals now."

With MS Dhoni up against Shah Rukh Khan's co-owned KKR in the big game, Salman Khan did not pick any favourites as he said, "May the best team win." Notably, it was Eoin Morgan who won the toss and asked CSK to bat first in the grand finale on Friday.
