Australian cricketer David Warner's obsession with India is widely known and he feels overwhelmed with the kind of love and admiration he gets from cricket fans all around. However, he is a movie buff and his craze for South Indian films is something which is frequently visible with his Reels and TikTok videos on several Telugu and Hindi songs and scenes. While the Australian opener has been in incredible form during Ashes, he is continuously treating his fans with his recent series of Instagram videos, mimicking Allu Arjun's scenes from his blockbuster movie, Pushpa.

In his recent video, he recreated a famous line from the blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise and garnered much love and appreciation from Indian fans. However, reacting to his video, a cricket fan asked the Australian opener, "if Warner is willing to take Indian citizenship." To which, the opener quickly responded by commenting, "What do I need to do?"

Notably, Warner's Instagram post drew the attention of the actor itself. Impressed with Warner's avatar, Allu Arjun commented, "Warner … David Warner … Yevva…Thaggede Le" with lovely emoticons. While David's wife Candice commented, “You have lost it!!!”, Australian captain Pat Cummins jokingly asked him, “You ok?." David Warner has often expressed that he and his family love to be in India, and travel around.

The cricketer developed a liking for Indian cinema during his stint with the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the Indian Premier League. Warner has developed a huge fan base among non-cricket fans with his interesting videos. Earlier, in the month of June last year, he talked about his love for the nation and Hyderabad on social media. His Instagram post read, ``My second home is still in India, Hyderabad is my favourite place."
