Royal challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Mohammad Siraj had a forgettable night against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in IPL 2022 Qualifier 2. Siraj bowled only two overs and conceded 31 runs. His expensive opening spell allowed Rajasthan batters to settle and chase down the target easily. Siraj also bowled a 22-run over in the first six overs of RCB’s defense which put the team off the track.
The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was also one to forget for the right-arm quick as he took only nine wickets in 15 matches and conceded over 540 runs in his 54 overs. With one of the retained players not performing to the expectations, some of the RCB fans lost their cool and started brutally trolling Siraj on social media.
Users bombarded Siraj’s comment section on Instagram with lewd and hateful comments. Some even went to the extent of dragging the pacer’s later father’s profession. However, there was also a section of users who stood by the 28-year-old speedster’s side and wished him to make a comeback.
Trolling Siraj is understandable, but bringing his late father's profession to disregard him is just a worst behaviour!😑

Siraj had a horrible season, there's no denying it. Much like Virat, he was a liability throughout. But guess what? His performance gives you NO RIGHT to abuse him. You've got to be one sick individual to sink so low as to even drag his late father.

Criticise Siraj as much as u want but keep it to constructive criticism.
Don't bring his father's profession into this. That is absolutely disgusting

Toxic RCB fans!
Siraj's Instagram handle is a sorry sight to see. Fans have even made fun of his father's death, his religion and poverty. Trolled Daniel Christian last year mercilessly and now Siraj. PATHETIC…

It is worth noting that Mohammed Siraj missed the last rites of his father to serve team India during their tour to Australia. In the same series, Siraj emerged as the leader of the pack as he took 13 wickets in three games including a match-winning five-wicket haul in the second innings of the Gabba Test.
