Camera and social media have been something both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma found it hard to avoid. Even individually both are big stars, while Kohli is the captain of the Indian national team, Anushka is a famous actress. However, after their marriage in December 2017, their fame only grew exponentially. The craze among their followers increased to that extent that even their privacy was ignored with many taking pictures of them from the time spent by the couple at their home.

Regarding the same issue, Kohli and Anushka, for many a time, have requested people to let them stay away from the camera, and since the birth of their daughter their disapproval to the media and limelight has only increased. They even had appealed to the photographers not to click the pictures of their newborn daughter.

All seems to be in vain as the paparazzi are still not understanding the request. During Team India's departure for the UK, Kohli and Anushka were spotted at the Mumbai airport with their daughter Vamika and there was no stopping for the photographers. However, as soon as the clicks were shared across social media platforms, netizens lashed out the paparazzi for their "inhumane" behaviour.

Here is how fans reacted to it:

"Flashes are so annoying at least consider the kids they are sleeping !! These high intensity lights would be harmful for the infants and kids , be humans and treat others as humans for gods sake they are not objects," wrote a fan.

"Shame on you guys. Why are you posting daughter pics. Respect their parents views. They don't want their daughter to be photographed. So. Why are you posting???" wrote another.

In January 2021, the couple gave birth to Vamika. To keep the child away from the public eye, Virat and Anushka had appealed to the photographers not to take pictures of their newborn daughter.

“Hi, Thank you for all the love that you have given us for all these years. We are happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support," read the note sent from the couple to the paparazzi.

“While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same,” they added.
