India lost 3-4 to Great Britain

The history-making Indian women's hockey team did their best to create a chance for themselves to clinch their maiden Olympics medal. Unfortunately, they could not as they lost 3-4 to Great Britain in the bronze medal match. The Indian girls played their heart out and overcame the two goal deficit and lead by 3-2 at the half time. Gurjit Kaur with a goal in the 25th and 26th minute and Vandana Katariya in the 29th minute stunned Great Britain.
