As the fifth T20I between India and South Africa was washed away, fans were extremely disappointed by the result as they were robbed of an incredible final match. The fans who came to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru they also had to suffer the wrath of the rain gods. 

While the fans in the stadium might have expected to experience rain but even the audience members sitting in the covered areas were drenched as the roof of that pavilion was constantly leaking, This discrepancy was brought to notice when Srinivas Ramamohan, a fan on Twitter, posted a video about this problem

He also captioned the video that said, “What was even more disappointing was the state of affairs inside the stadium! The richest board in the world and these are the kind of conditions their fans need to put up with! When will @BCCI @kscaofficial1 improve fan experience befitting the stature of the sport??”

Cricket fans have decided to refund 50 per cent of the amounts for all the paid tickets: Mruthyunjaya

The Karnataka State Cricket Association had issued an announcement addressing that they will provide a 50% ticket refund for the fans who came to the stadium. In the statement,  Treasurer and Official Spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya said, "KSCA regret to announce that due to heavy and continuous rains, the 5th T20I played between India and South Africa at the Chinnaswamy Stadium after India batted just over three overs.

“As per terms and conditions, even if a single ball is bowled, there shall be no question of refund. However, the KSCA as a gesture towards cricket fans have decided to refund 50 per cent of the amounts for all the paid tickets. The modalities with respect to the refund, with the dates, time and venue will be announced shortly. All the paid ticket holders are requested to retain their original tickets to claim refunds."
