The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced that the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League 2021 season will be conducted in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E). The reason behind the decision is being the bad weather in India around September-October, which would have hampered the cash-rich league. Following the update by BCCI, the IPL franchises took to social media to inform their fans about the news.

Sunrisers Hyderabad also gave the update on their Instagram handle as they posted, "IPL 2021 resumes ?". SRH fans flooded the comments section as they expressed their excitement of seeing David Warner back in the Orange. One of the fans wrote, "Finally Warner will be back??". Australian batsman David Warner replied to the fan's comment with a questionable emoji.

? Warner replies with Thinking Face Emoji

The southpaw enjoys a crazy fan following in Hyderabad as he has been part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team for many years. He regularly replies to his fans on social media with heart emojis. However, this time around, he replied to the particular comment with a thinking face emoji. Fans speculated on the post if Warner's cryptic reply hinted at a potential exit from the franchise next season.

David Warner was removed as the skipper of the Sunrisers Hyderabad midway this season after a string of poor performances. Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson was named Warner's successor and the Australian was also axed from the SRH playing 11 in the next match. Even though he had a poor performance in IPL 2021, fans still stood by him and openly displayed their support on social media.
