Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has shared an important update regarding his future. While his stint with the Indian team as their coach ended with the Virat Kohli led side's defeat at the T20 World Cup, he overall enjoyed a great spell with the Indian side, having reached the semifinal of the ODI World Cup as well as winning the Test series in Australia twice and leading the other one in England.

And now Shastri has informed that he will be back into the management soon as per his social media post. His tweet on November 27 was regarding the launch of a sports management company. It has been confirmed that the company named "Sporting Beyond" will be opened by Ravi Shastri in partnership with Papia Pradeep Guha and Jaiveer Panwar. Sahil Malhotra will be the Senior Vice President and head of operations for the company.

According to a report carried by exchange4media.com, the company will deal with the creation and marketing of new sports properties, mergers and acquisitions as well as working on existing properties across all sports.

Meanwhile, Shastri had earlier been included as the Commissioner of a new tournament called the Legends League Cricket. The tournament will be for yesteryear stars from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, England and a few other countries. The players will be divided into three teams representing India, Asia, and the Rest of the World.

"It is going to be a lot of fun with some serious cricket going. These stalwarts have nothing new to prove but they have their reputation in line and I can assure you, it will be interesting to see how they do justice to it. I am extremely thrilled to be a part of Legends League Cricket. This is a unique initiative and we see a very bright future ahead," Shastri stated as per a release.
