The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) has been announced for 2022. It is all set to return to Singapore and will be held in Sentosa, an island on the southern coast. The tournament is slated to take place in May and will be played in two stages- Play-ins and Finals. A total of 22 teams from 13 Free Fire regions will fight for the championship title. Squads will qualify for the FFWS by the regional Free Fire tournaments. Twelve teams will battle in the play-ins for a chance to earn a spot in the finals. The top two teams of this first stage will join the other 10 already-qualified squads on May 21.
