Lucknow Super Giants continue to dominate in the 2022 IPL as they pulled off another amazing victory over the Delhi Capitals where they defended 195 and registered a win by six runs. The match took an intense turn as the DC batting was inching closer and closer to the total but Marcus Stonis held his nerves and took LSG over the finish line.

After the match, the Lucknow team celebrated this amazing victory as they joyously sang Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond in their dressing room. The LSG social media team posted a video of this celebration where the entire team is relishing this moment and banging utensils to fully enjoy the song. But throughout the video, there is one man who seems to be the fish out of water in this high spirited pond. This man is Lucknow Super Giants team mentor Gautum Gambhir who appears in the video with just a smile.

Watch the video:

Over the years we have come to the understanding that Gautum Gambhir has been one of the most focused and intense individuals in world cricket. The Delhi-born batter has been part of India’s greatest limited over triumphs where he was the man in the tournament final of ICC events. Similarly, this focus and grit have now seeped into his mentorship role which has turned LSG into a formidable unit.

But the internet doesn’t care about this as they jokingly called out Gautam Gambhir’s subdued reaction to this celebration. These comments talked about how Gambhir is just fed up with such things and just wants the team to focus on their next game. While some comments deemed this moment as ‘Classic Gambhir’.

“Everyone back home, mom, dad, friends would have been happy,” Khan

But one individual who wasn’t holding back on his celebration was Mohsin Khan. The youngster from Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh had a Player of the Match performance as he took four wickets while giving away just 16 runs in his four-over quota. After the match, Khan expressed how elated he was with his performance and thanked his family for supporting him in this journey.

He said, “Everyone back home, mom, dad, friends would have been happy seeing me perform today. Ever since I started playing cricket I didn't think much about swing but coming to the IPL if it swings then great. But right from the start I look to bowl fast. I just want to try and do well with the opportunities I get and keep winning games for the team.”
