The latest update for one of the most popular online RPG, Genshin Impact has indeed been a ‘game-changer' in many aspects. From the introduction of new character like Yanfei and Eula to permanent features like housing the system, the 1.5 version of the game has stood up to the demands of millions of players across the globe. Additionally, to cater to the community, this version has introduced constant mini-games and events to entertain the gaming community like never before. The latest event to enter in Genshin Impact is the Windtrace event which splits the players into two sides- Rebels and Hunters. In this, the Rebels have to hide from the Hunters for a specified amount of time, which makes it similar to prop hunt.

Here are a few tips to ace the Windtrace Event and earn free Primogems.

Tips for Rebels in Windtrace Event

The goal for Rebels is to hide from the Hunters for 3:30 minutes. The Rebels can choose their abilities to play against the Hunters. The best option in Windtrace would be – Transparency, as it’ll help them run away and escape from the Hunters.

Another tip could be to make the most out of the minimap, which shows the Hunters’ location. This feature helps in constantly changing the hiding spot and staying away from the hunters.

Lastly, the Rebels should hide as far as they can from the spawn. A skilled hunter will have a viable strategy and keep a note of the rebels’ whereabouts. Hiding at a far-off place or climbing high trees could be a feasible option, as they are the most difficult to search while hunting.

Tips for Hunters in Windtrace Event

For the Hunters, the goal remains to find all the rebels in 3:30 minutes. Just like the Rebels, the hunters can choose from the three Windward Arts (abilities) as per the areas where they are highly beneficial.

The first and probably the most important tip for the Hunters is to keep a close watch on the Rebels’ directions during the preparation phase.

Secondly, the Hunters should contest the favour and should not let the Rebels steal them, as the increased movement speed which gives a 30 seconds boost is a crucial upgrade in this time-bound event.

Lastly, effective management of time by keeping a close note of all the props available on the map provides a major advantage as one will only have to look for a limited amount of items.

How to redeem Windtrace coins

For now, one can only collect up to 1,200 Windtrace coins in the event by winning games. This amount will increase by 600 for the upcoming 6 days, further leading to a limit of 4,800 Windtrace coins. Following which, these Windtrace coins can be redeemed for 420 Primogems, character EXP materials, Mora, along with a Windtrace-themed Namecard.
