Former Manchester City and Barcelona forward Sergio Aguero is regarded as one of the greatest ever to grace the game of football. The Argentine took the football fraternity by storm when he announced his retirement from professional football last year in an emotional press conference at the Camp Nou. Aguero's decision came following a heart arrhythmia caused by a small scar near his heart which caused him to collapse during a Barcelona game.

However, Sergio Aguero was always hopeful of making his return to the field and followed the prescribed process throughout to feel the delight of playing the game once again. In the latest development, the 34-year-old was spotted playing football for the first time since announcing retirement.

However, Sergio Aguero returned to action in an informal training game with the Miami branch of River Plate after the club invited the legend. Aguero once again wore the Barcelona jersey with the number eight on his back. The video of the former Barcelona forward immediately went viral on social media and several fans shared the video expressing their delight to see their favorite footballer back on the field.

Notably, Aguero will be part of Argentina's coaching staff at the 2022 World Cup later this year. Sergio Aguero reportedly commented on Argentina's chances of winning the World Cup as he said, "Argentina are always candidates to fight for the World Cup." He further stated that teams will gain a lot of confidence after playing the first few games. "If it's Germany, we still have to qualify and then we will fight against each other in the latter stages," he added.
