The final day of the BGMI Masters Series Grand Finals concluded with Global Esports winning the title. All 16 teams had put forth their best performance on the last day of the event. GE was at the 7th position before the last day tournament and fought up to claim the trophy of Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series. Jonathan won the MVP in the finals and received INR 50,000 in prize money. 

Along with India’s first televised LAN trophy, the team also won INR 25,00,000 as prize money. The team released a statement on their social media addressing their win and talked about how they started as underdogs and were also accused of foul play but still defeated all odds to lift the trophy. 

Global Esports statement said, “History has been made, from being the underdogs to being accused of foul play, then branded – onliners. Well, India’s first televised Lan was the perfect place to silence the haters. Mighty well played boys! Point proved.”

On the first map of the final, Erangel, Team Enigma Forever with their star player Owais, had an incredible performance as they took the chicken dinner with 12 kills. Behind them in the second place was Skylightz, who had good rotations and bagged 10 kills. Team GodLike made a late push and finished at third place with six frags, while Orangutan and Soul were eliminated early.

In Sanhok, Blind Esports built on their advantage and secured a chicken dinner with 11 kills in the final game. 8Bit also had a great show to get their second place with nine frags, while Enigma Forever finished third with four kills. Team Soul and GodLike finished five and three points, respectively.

Global Esports had an excellent showing on Miramar as they let Orangutan clean out FS Esports and then eliminate them to register an eight-kill chicken dinner win. Team Soul lost two players early thanks to 8Bit and then the remaining two players were eliminated by Enigma Gaming. Then in the final match of the event was won by OR Esports with 11 finishes on Erangel. Global Esports registered 20 points in the match, which propelled them to get the trophy in the Masters Series.
