GTA V expected to be released for the next generation of consoles in late 2021

After the record-breaking sales of GTA V in 2020, it is expected that one of the most successful games of last decade could be released for Playstation and Xbox Series X in September this year.

Grand Theft Auto V, published by Rockstar Games, has undoubtedly been one of the most successful games of the last decade. After its initial release in 2013 for PS3 and XBOX 360, it was released again for PS4 and XBOX One. With the introduction of Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series X in late 2020, GTA fans certainly want the famous game to return for the latest generation of consoles.

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, recently revealed that there is some work going on the same lines. It is expected that the game could be released for the new generation of the consoles in the second half of 2021. There is an expectation that it might eventually release on GTA V’s 8th year anniversary, which will be due on 13th September 2021.

Trailer of GTA VI set for a release?

Take Two also gave a hint about the next iteration in the GTA franchise, which has actually left the fans excited about it. While the next installment of the GTA series is expected to release in 2023, Rockstar Games have raised a few eyebrows through their recent activities.

They have some job listings on their website, which also includes “Cinematic Gameplay Capture Artist.” Although it could be only for the GTA V PS5 and Xbox Series X versions, this could even mean that they are working on the trailer for GTA VI as well.

There is a high possibility that an important announcement, regarding the plot or location details or a release date, might be on its way very soon. With so much happening in the gaming industry, the fans and admirers of GTA franchise should definitely be excited about the recent events.
