Adani SportsLine owned Gulf Giant in the UAE International League T20 named their 14-member squad on Wednesday. Shimron Hetmyer, Chris Jordan, Chris Lynn, David Wiese, Liam Dawson are a couple of notable names which have been included in the squad.

Gulf Giants have named Andy Flower, former Zimbabwe captain and 2019 ICC World T20 winning coach with England team as its head coach for the inaugural season of the IL T20, which will take place between January and February 2023. Apart from Gulf Giants, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and MI Emirates have revealed their signings as recently they announced their squad for the upcoming T20 league.

Power hitters like Andress Russel, Jonny Bairstow, Paul Stirling and others will grace the competition in Knight Riders jersey. Sunil Narine is another notable signing by the franchise. Ravi Rampaul and Clin Ingram, were the two notable T20 veterans which were signed by the Knight Riders for the first season of the UAE T20 International League.

ADKR, is the second franchise owned by the Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Trinbago Knight Riders, a Caribbean Premier League team was the first franchise outside India which the Knight Riders acquired.  Meanwhile, MI Emirates owned by Mumbai Indian franchise also named their squad which includes players like Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Fletcher, Imran Tahir and others. The Mumbai Indians franchise has also acquired rights to own a franchise in upcoming South Africa T20 League.
