The Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign has released a patriotic anthem to celebrate the 75th year of Independence for India. The anthem features many Indian athletes including former Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Olympic medallist Mirabai Chanu, former Indian women's skipper Mithali Raj, MC Mary Kom and more.
Apart from athletes, the song also features many Bollywood celebrities like megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Prabhas, Anushka Sharma among others.
To celebrate the diverse culture, history and achievements of India, the government had initiated the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign.
The song was launched on social media under Amrit Mahotsav campaign and captioned, "The biggest patriotic song of the year, the HAR GHAR TIRANGA Anthem, OUT NOW!! An ode to the strength & grace of our Tiranga, this song is going to rekindle in you a sense of pride & love for the nation. Now every home will fly a Tiranga & every heart will sing."
Earlier, the Indian government proposed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to organise a cricket match between the top Indian players and the rest of the world to commemorate the 75th year of Independence for India, which was later cancelled as per reports.
