Hardik Pandya has made a name for himself in world cricket through his performances. The India all-rounder has played many match-winning knocks for his country or whichever team he has played for. And this has helped him build a huge fanbase. There are many young players who admire the Baroda cricketer.

Sri Lankan all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne is one of them. The Lankan cricketer has openly praised Pandya and also hopes to contribute to his team's success just like Pandya does. Also, whenever he has gotten a chance, he has tried to share some memorable moments with the Indian cricketer.

Pandya has also not shied away from making his fan happy and has gifted him a few things to make their meetings even more memorable. With Karunaratne now a part of the Indian Premier League (IPL), he got a chance to meet his star from so close and also was able to get another gift from Pandya.

In a picture going viral on the Internet, Pandya is seen gifting Karunaratne his signed Gujarat Titans jersey. Notably, this was the second gift for Karunaratne from Hardik Pandya as the India all-rounder had gifted his bat when India had toured Sri Lanka back in 2021.

Kolkata take on Lucknow with Playoff place at stake

Karunaratne got a gift from Pandya but is yet to get a gift (debut cap) from his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. The two-time champions are taking on Lucknow Super Giants in their eleventh game of the season with playoff place at stake. KKR have lost momentum after starting brilliantly in the tournament. They have lost six out of ten games played. However, with a win in their last game, KKR have kept themselves in the hunt for the playoff. They will now look to overcome the LSG challenge to better their chances.
