In a shocking news coming from the world of cricket, it is being reported that a sexual harassment complaint has been submitted against cricketers Hardik Pandya, Munaf Patel and BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla. The name of the complainant is Rehnuma Bhati, who is notably the wife of underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s aide Riyaz Bhati.
In an application where she accused her husband of rape and running a high-profile sex racket, she also made some shocking revelations which involve some high-profile names from Indian cricket circuit. A copy of the complaint is doing rounds on social media which has the names of Hardik, Munaf and Mr. Shukla. It must be noted that the below-mentioned complaint copy has not yet been verified by the authorities.
Application was notably submitted two months back
Reflecting on the situation, Deputy Commissioner of Police for the jurisdiction, Manjunath Singhe, confirmed that an application has indeed been submitted, but admitted that he does not have any more details at the moment.
On the other hand, Rehnuma revealed that she had submitted the application couple of months back but no action has yet been taken. “I have been trying to get the police to register an FIR, but they aren’t complying. My application was submitted in September, it is already November now,” Rehnuma told The Print.
Shocking details of the alleged incidents have been reported by media
In a report by OpIndia, the details of the shocking incidents were described as mentioned in the complaint copy which is going viral on social media.
"She (rehnuma) wrote that she was forced to sleep with Munaf Patel in a continental hotel, and with Hardik Pandya in a hotel named Trident. According to the complaint, Pandya and his two friends committed all kinds of unnatural sexual activities with her including oral sex and anal sex, and all of them were drunk," the report stated.
It added, "The woman further alleged that when she refused to sleep with Rajeev Shukla, she was beaten by Shukla and his friends. She was also forced to dance nude without clothes in front of Shukla and his friends, after which she was raped by them. She added that Shukla kept photos and videos of this first encounter in 2012-13, and used the same to continue to exploit her."
As per ANI , no FIR has been filed so far and Mumbai Police is currently investigating the case. Notably, no evidence has been found against anyone so far.
