Virat Kohli is going through a lean patch these days but the former Indian skipper is growing from strength to strength and is working hard to get back to his usual best. However, in a recent interview, Kohli's former Indian U-19 team and Delhi teammate Pradeep Sangwan has revealed that the Royal Challengers Bangalore star (RCB) used to get very emotional when he failed to score in matches.

In an interview, Sangwan revealed that Virat Kohli has always been an emotional person and the former RCB skipper used to cry in his room during U-17 days. Pradeep Sangwan then revealed one incident  from U-17 days when their childhood coach pranked Kohli after couple of low scores.

“We were playing a U-17 match in Patiala. Virat had not good outings in last couple of matches and our coach Ajit Choudhary decided to prank him. Virat was the main player in our team but when coach announced the 13 players for the match, he didn’t pick Virat.

Pradeep Sangwan then revealed how hurt Virat was and he started crying in his room and was not sleeping. Later that night, Sangwan told Kohli that it was a prank and only then the latter slept.
