IPL 2021 is off to a rollicking start. There have been some really close encounters already and we are still in week 1 of the biggest T20 festival on Earth. The match between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals was another game that went down to the wire. With five needed to win from the last ball, a set Sanju Samson batting on 119, failed to clear the rope by 5-6 yards as Rajasthan tasted a narrow 4-run defeat in their opening match. On another day, the ball would have sailed into the stands with Samson celebrating like there's no tomorrow. Despite being on the losing side, the Kerala cricketer was adjudged Player of the Match on his captaincy debut.

Sharing the scorecard of the match, Punjab Kings wrote that even RR's Archer couldn't have predicted the result of the match. Notably, the England speedster is known for his series of old tweets which somehow finds a link to the current events or occurrences, giving the idea that he had predicted them before. However, Archer was quick to respond to the tweet put out by PBKS.

He who laughs last laughs best: Archer's epic one-liner

In a killer one-liner, Archer said "He who laughs last laughs best" and followed that with a kiss emoji. The RR star, who is currently not part of the squad owing to his elbow injury, suggested that the Men in Pink will bounce back stronger and will have the last laugh.

The teams will meet again for a reverse fixture on 22 May and it would be interesting to see who gets to laugh last in that league match scheduled at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
