It's been a season to forget for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021 as they find themselves at bottom of the table, with only 3 wins in 13 matches. While things haven't been going according to the plan on the field, it's been the same story for them off the field as well. David Warner, who has been the leader of franchise over the years, was stripped off from captaincy duties before also getting dropped from the playing XI.

The Aussie returned to the setup in the beginning of UAE leg much to the excitement of all the Orange Army fans. However, it did not take things to go from bad to worse as couple of failures for Warner resulted in him getting dropped from the side once again. His replacement Jason Roy made an instant impact which more-or-less marked the end of Warner's season in IPL 2021.

Warner to not play for SRH in IPL 2022?

With SRH's season done and dusted, they have decided to give chances to youngsters in recent times under the leadership of Kane Williamson. As a result, Warner has not been able to get a place even in the 18-member squad and has been forced to watch a couple of matches from the hotel room.

There have been speculations going around his future with the franchise considering the recent sequence of events. With the mega auctions scheduled ahead of IPL 2022, SRH's approach this season has hinted that Warner is not in their plans for next year.

And as it turns out, even the Aussie believes the same! Recently, one of the fans on Instagram requested Warner to continue playing for SRH as he stated, "Please stay with SRH forever.. please retain our warning bull." Surprisingly, the Aussie replied to the comment and said, "Highly doubt that," suggesting that Warner might have already played his last game for the franchise.
