It's March 18, 2022 and the festival of colours and joy is here! As the entire India celebrates Holi in their own style, we wonder what the approach of cricketers would be during the auspicious occasion. As different personalities result in individuals' unique way of enjoying the day, here is a hypothetical scenario of how some of the star cricketers are likely to play Holi.

Balloon Fight Holi

The cricketers who are still kids by heart will be the ones who would celebrate the 'Balloon Fight Holi' where they can be a nightmare for all others with their pranks. Someone like Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, James Neesham and David Warner are most likely to enjoy the festival in this way and they might also record the video of same and put it on Tik Tok with some epic background music to add salt to wounds of the victim of their balloon attack.

No color please Holi

The ones who are usually silent and prefer to stay indoors when there is chaos happening outside. These are the shy people who prefer to play Holi without any colour, water, balloon etc. Someone like Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Hanuma Vihari, Mohammad Nabi etc. will come under this category who would want to enjoy the festival peacefully, by listening to soulful music, watching the news channel and reading books.

Paint & Grease Holi

The young guns of modern cricket, who are stylish on the field and swagsters off the field, are likely to break the rules and play Holi with paint and grease. Players like Hardik Pandya, Andre Russell, Ishan Kishan, Dwayne Bravo etc. will be the ones who would wreak havoc for everyone around them. Just like how they don't spare any bowler while batting, whoever comes in their radar during the festival is surely expected to take a long bath later in the day.

Eco-friendly Holi

Once upon a time, these were the players who would celebrate the festival with the worst available colours. But having become parents of young kids now, they are expected to be act more responsibly and hence opt to play Eco-friendly Holi. Someone like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Faf du Plessis etc. will adopt this approach of using only organic colours to ensure they have a safe time with family.

Thandai and Gujia Holi

There are few players who follow the 'Aag lage basti mein, ham hamari masti mein' approach during the festivals. While everyone is busy playing Holi with colours, they might have their full focus on the tasty food i.e. Thandai and Gujia. Someone like Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravi Shastri and Marcus Stoinis are most likely to celebrate Holi in this style with their priorities well set. This is indeed one of the most fun ways to enjoy the festival.
