It's been a remarkable turnaround for Team India after their disappointing show in the T20 World Cup where they could not reach the semifinals. In the home T20I series against New Zealand, a new-look India side with Rohit Sharma at the helm defeated the runners-up of the World Cup 3-0. Moreover, the performance of some of the younger boys coupled with the fine form of some of the senior players would please the team management as they head into the Test series.

The Test squad will now be flying to Kanpur for the first of the two-Test matches.
