Kolkata Knight Riders, on Thursday, made the huge announcement that they will be organizing a Mock Auction for fans of the franchise ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction. It is an activity which the franchise has done in past and considering the incredible response which they have received in past, KKR have decided to make it much more bigger and special this time around.
"They (KKR’s creative team) have come up with a very smart way in which fans can get involved with this, and share their ideas with us, and at the same time also filter it down in a way we can actually interact with those who have been identified as people who have come up with some smart and interesting ideas," franchise's CEO Managing Director Venky Mysore said.
How to participate in the KKR Mock Auction?
There is already a lot of buzz on social media around the same, with fans wondering how to submit their entries for KKR Mock Auction. Notably, all the details and information is now out and you can follow the mentioned steps to take part in the contest.
Step 1: Sign up on the official KKR page of Galaxy of Knights
Step 2: Make your profile and enter all the details
Step 3: Generate your Unique Identification Code (UIC)
Step 4: Make a video
You need to mention which players you think KKR should buy in the auction, along with talking about reasons behind your picks.
Step 5: Share the video on your social media profile
While posting, use the code (UIC) along with hashtag #KKRMockAuction which will submit your entry in the contest.

It must be noted that names of 30 fans (with best suggestions) will be announced, who will eventually take part in KKR Mock Auction. In addition, 3 lucky winners will also get an opportunity to interact with KKR's Think Tank (via video call) before the mega auction, slated to take place on Feb 12-13.
