Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 3 has finally arrived with new updates, additions and changes. From brand new Sniper Rifles to SMGs, there are a total of 6 weapons to be explored this season, given the changes in the arsenal. The latest and most exciting weapon to be included is CARV.2. It is being said that CARV.2 is going to be another meta-changing weapon in the Tactical Rifles category. CARV.2’s functioning is similar to M16, one of the best weapons of Season 2, and can thus act as the best alternative to M16 in Zombies.
How to unlock CARV.2 in Multiplayer
To unlock this new weapon in Multiplayer mode, one must rapidly kill a minimum of 2 players in 10 different completed matches using Tactical Rifles. Playing it in the Hardcore mode using M16 or Type 36 and get 2 rapid kills, will help in making the most out of it. Diesel, Face Off and Newtown are the recommended maps when trying to unlock CARV.2, considering the intensity they offer. Unlocking this new weapon in Multiplayer can considerably take more than an hour.
Unlocking CARV.2 in Zombie
Alongside multiplayer matches, CARV.2 is an equally good option in Zombie and way easier to unlock. For unlocking the weapon in Zombie, one needs to get 250 longshots with tactical rifles. Completing the challenge in outbreak with M16 would be a sound strategy as other maps might not give enough chances for 250 longshot kills. Unlocking CARV.2 in Zombie shouldn’t take more than 20-25 minutes.
