After 5 years, the T20 World Cup has finally returned and there is something that is also coming back - the famous Indo-Pak rivalry. Yes! The two Asian giants have been placed in the same group and interestingly, they will be up against each other in their very first game of the campaign. There is already so much hype around the big game with former cricketers giving their predictions for the blockbuster contest.

The latest entrant in the list is former Pakistan captain Younis Khan, who talked openly about his expectations from the match. Something that has been very widely talked about ahead of Sunday's clash is the dominant record for India in the history of competition, where they have defeated Pakistan in all the five meetings in past (twice in 2007, 2012, 2014 and 2016).

India-Pakistan is a high-pressure match: Younis Khan

"From Pakistan point of view, I am hoping that 5-0 record in T20 World Cup will become 5-1. India-Pakistan is a high-pressure match and only those who are able to deliver in such scenarios go on to become legends of the game," said Younis Khan at a conclave organized by ABP News on Friday.

Even the captain of Men in Green - Babar Azam - had earlier admitted that the team is not bothered about past and the players are quite confident about defeating India in Dubai on October 24.

Former Pakistan captain opens up on MSD's role as Team India mentor

Younis Khan also admitted that the presence of MS Dhoni as India's mentor for the mega event will have a huge impact on Virat Kohli and Co. "When you have a player like MS Dhoni in the dressing room, as an opponent you always dread that. Even before in our games, Dhoni has been a big factor, he has the ability to calm the environment and in a high-pressure game that is a huge bonus," Khan said.

He was full of praise for MS Dhoni as he claimed that the former Indian captain will be a huge plus for national side in the World Cup considering he has won so many titles during his cricket career. Notably, MSD is the only captain to have lifted all the major ICC limited-overs trophies as captain - T20 World Cup in 2007, ODI World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2013.
