Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are two successful individuals in their own respective fields. While Kohli is among the modern-day greats of cricket, even regarded as one of the greatest of all time by fans and cricket experts alike, Anushka has proven her credentials as an actor in several commercially and critically acclaimed Hindi movies.

The two of them are a power couple and constantly have eyeballs on them. Yet the grace with which they carry themselves serves as an inspiration to many. On Sunday, Kohli shared a heartfelt note for her wife Anushka on social media. May 1 happens to be Anushka's birthday and the ex-India captain not only thanked God for her life but wondered what he would do if not for his spouse.

"Thank god you were born ❤️. I don’t know what I would do without you. You’re truly beautiful inside out ❤️. Had a great afternoon with the sweetest folks around ? @anushkasharma," Kohli captioned a couple of pictures.

On the cricketing front, Kohli returned to some form with his first half-century in IPL in 14 innings. Anushka, who was present at the venue, was seen cheering for her in typical fangirl style, screaming in excitement as he reached the milestone.

Despite Kohli's half-century, Bangalore succumbed to a defeat against Gujarat Titans on Saturday which was their third loss on the trot.

At an individual level, Kohli will hope to regain his prime form with the bat ahead of the T20 World Cup and Asia Cup later this year. Meanwhile, Anushka too has some cricketing practices to attend as she would be seen playing the character of the highest wicket-taker in women's cricket Jhulan Goswami in her upcoming movie.

The film is being directed by Prosit Roy who is best known for directing the web series Paatal Lok.
