Amid the ongoing controversy between Virat Kohli and BCCI regarding the white-ball captaincy, there have been a number of speculations which hint that not everything is fine behind the scenes of Indian cricket. And things went extremely spicy when Kohli contradicted the statements of Sourav Ganguly publicly during a press-conference.

While the BCCI president had earlier stated that they had requested Kohli not to step down from T20I captaincy, Kohli instead revealed that his decision to step down was received very well by the board members and no one had asked him to reconsider his call.

It was quite evident that one of the parties was not speaking the truth and when Ganguly was asked to comment on the issue, he assured everyone that BCCI will look into the matter and deal with it appropriately. Since then, fans have not heard anything from the board but the president did talk about Kohli's attitude recently during an event in Gurgaon.

Ganguly speaks about Kohli's attitude

After being asked to name a player whose attitude he likes the most, Ganguly named Virat Kohli but pointed out an issue with India's Test captain. He said, "I like Virat Kohli’s attitude but he fights a lot," as quoted by CricTracker.

The BCCI president looked in a very fun mood during the event and one of his answers left everyone in splits. When he was asked about his remedy to deal with stress in life, he said, "There is no stress in life. Only wife and girlfriend give stress."

The comments of 49-year-old hints towards the fact that while Ganguly might have a slight issue with Kohli's over-aggressive approach, he presumably is still a fan of his attitude as the duo shares quite a few similarities in the way they play their game on the cricket field.
