Team India skipper Virat Kohli was in a fiery mood on Day 5 of the 2nd Test against England as his team fought back superbly to put the hosts under tremendous pressure. The Indian bowling unit bowled with venom and purpose as they ripped through England's top order. The pace trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma combined to pick up 4 wickets prior to tea on Day 5. The key wicket of England skipper Joe Root was bagged by Jasprit Bumrah with a brilliant delivery right after the tea break.

The match was on a knife's edge throughout as several dramatic moments were witnessed in the match. Virat Kohli, too was in the mood and he kept on motivating his teammates regularly. Before England's 2nd innings, Virat urged his troops to focus fully on the task at hand with India looking to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The Indian skipper was all riled up and he gathered his teammates for a pep-talk. As the Indian players got into team huddle before the start of innings, Virat Kohli was apparently seen saying, "If I see someone laughing, then see! This 60 overs you should field like hell."
