With just few days remaining for the resumption of IPL 2021, the T20 fever is set to take over the fans. Fans are expressing their excitement on social media and one such Sunrisers Hyderabad fan expressed her desire to see David Warner score a century in IPL 2021. However, the former SRH captain David Warner took a cheeky dig at the SRH team management in his reply to the fan.

Warner was replaced as captain in the 14th edition of the IPL by Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson after the Hyderabad skipper struggled to inspire his team. Sunrisers had won just one of their six matches played under Warner's captaincy in IPL 2021 and are at the last spot in the points table. The opener himself struggled to get going and had a strike rate of 110.28 in IPL 2021, his worst in the history of the league.

Warner responds after fan wants him to score century in IPL 2021

Warner enjoys a crazy fan following in Hyderabad and The Orange Army have always supported the Aussie opener, even during his bad phase. After Warner had a poor performance in IPL 2021, fans still stood by him and openly displayed their support on social media. A fan recently wrote on Instagram, "David waiting for your century in the 2nd phase." Warner replied to her comment with cheeky statement, "Yep me too if I'm selected in the team."

Warner has been an integral part of the SunRisers Hyderabad setup in the IPL over the years. Even though he was removed as the skipper of SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) midway during IPL 2021, Warner' heart still beats for the Orange Army as is evident from his social media handles. The southpaw regularly replies to his fans on social media with heart emojis. SRH will resume their campaign against the Delhi Capitals on September 22 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in UAE.
