The India and Ireland two-game T20I series will reach its business end as both teams will face for the final match in Dublin. The Men in Blue dominated the first and only game of the series so far, thanks to a clinical batting display. Stars like Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda and Hardik Pandya played crucial knocks in their 7-wicket victory after spells from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal kept Irish scoring under check.

However, like the previous game, the final game could be in trouble because of the weather in Dublin. As monsoons are a mainstay in this region, this area in Ireland has been one of the key regions where the rain gods have poured on heavily.

This news has caused a lot of worry among the fans and players as the final game could be washed-out. As cricket fans, this wouldn’t be liked as they would want at least some cricket from the final game of the series. But the real question is, will rain affect the second T20I between India and Ireland in Dublin? To answer this, let’s look at the weather forecast for the day.

Weather forecast for 19 June in Dublin

As it can be seen from the Dublin weather forecast, there is a high chance of rain on the given day. It is 95% - 96% for daytime and goes down 16% to around during the time of the game. This means that there is a small hope of cricket on 27 June in Dublin which eventually means the 2nd T20I between India and Ireland could be played with some interruptions. If rainfall is heavy or persists over a prolonged period, the game is expected to be called off. India will be deemed the winners in that case.
