India started their 2nd innings at 69/0 on Day 3 and ended up setting a humongous target of 540 runs for New Zealand to win the 2nd Test in Mumbai. Among New Zealand bowlers, only Ajaz Patel and Rachin Ravindra took wickets. Meanwhile, Indian top order batting (Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara & Shubman Gill) once again showed their class to ensure India post a very good total. New Zealand struggled to bat in the 4th innings of the game as Ashwin spun a web around them and at end of the day they were restricted for 140/5. The match is expected to get over inside the first two sessions tomorrow as India are just 5 wickets away from a victory, while New Zealand need a miracle to stay in contention for this game.
