Preview:

It's been an exciting series between India and South Africa. While the touring party gave India a wake-up call in the first two matches by defeating the home team easily, the Men in Blue responded brilliantly under pressure and have managed to level the five-match series 2-2 with the decider set to be played in Bengaluru on June 19. Although the momentum is definitely with the Indian team with a dominant 82-run win in the last match, the Proteas have shown that they can't afford to be taken lightly with several in-form players in their ranks. All and all, another compelling contest awaits cricket fans this Sunday evening.

Pitch Report:

Although the Bengaluru wicket is usually regarded as the batter's paradise, the average score in the 7 T20Is that have been played at this venue reveals a slightly different story. So far the mean score in the first innings has been 154.71 in T20Is. This means that an even contest between the bat and ball is expected despite short boundaries. Only once in 7 matches has the 200-run mark been breached, so a score of 160-180 could be just about par. However, the team winning the toss may still want to have a bowl first.

Team Analysis

India:

Things are beginning to fall in place for Team India. While there were valid questions being raised after India lost the first two matches, most players who failed to deliver in those games have found a way to bounce back in the next two matches. Rishabh Pant hasn't got a big score under his belt in this series so far and would want to end his first series as captain with a big score that helps India to a series victory.

Similarly, Ruturaj Gaikwad would also want to add another significant score to his tally after his 57 in the third T20I. In the bowling department, Harshal Patel, Bhunveshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal are among the leading wicket-takers in the series while Avesh Khan picked four in the last T20I.

SportsTiger' Playing XI of India: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Avesh Khan

South Africa:

The South African side suffered two injuries in the last T20I with captain Temba Bavuma walking off the field retired hurt and not being able to come back to bat again. Later, Marco Jansen also got hit on the helmet and was dismissed in the very next ball so it remains to be seen if he is fit for the series decider.

However, the big news is Quinton de Kock has regained fitness and was in action in South Africa's last match and while he is set to be named in the XI for the last match, Reeza Hendricks might be his opening partner if Bavuma isn't playing. Keshav Maharaj will have to lead the team in case the regular skipper is forced to miss this match.

Heinrich Klaasen, Rassie van der Dussen and David Miller have been South Africa's leading run-scorers in the series. However, the stage is set for somebody like a De Kock to fire and get them off to a perfect start. In the bowling department, Anrich Nortje, Dwaine Pretorius and Maharaj will have to take the responsibility to deliver the goods for the bowling team.

SportsTiger's Playing XI of South Africa: Reeza Hendricks, Quinton de Kock (wk), Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, Dwaine Pretorius, Keshav Maharaj, Marco Jansen (if fit), Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi, Anrich Nortje

Match Prediction:

Conclusion

India will be hard to stop after their 82-run win over South Africa in their last match.
