The India and South Africa five-game T20I series reaches its business end as both teams are set to face in the final match in Bengaluru. The Men in Blue have dominated in the previous two games after trailing 0-2 in the series. But their best performance in the series was in the last fixture where they registered 82-run victory over Proteas.

However, the final game could be in trouble because of the weather in Bengaluru. As monsoon has been hitting various areas in the country, the capital of Karnataka has been one of the key regions where the rain gods have poured on heavily.

This news has caused a lot of worry among the fans and players as the final game could be washed-out. As cricket fans, this would be unacceptable for both teams as well as the fans. But the real question is, will rain affect the 5th T20I between India and South Africa in Bengaluru? To answer this, let’s look at the weather forecast for the day.

Weather forecast for 19 June in Bengaluru

As it can be seen from the Bengaluru weather forecast, there is a high chance of rain on the given day. It is 24% for day time goes up to over 90% during the night. This means that there could be heavy rain on 19 June in Bengaluru which eventually means the 5th T20I between India and South Africa could be played with some interruptions. Hence if rainfall is heavy, the game is expected to be called off.
