BCCI source gives big update on future of T20 World Cup in India and completion of IPL 2021

In an already jam-packed schedule, the Indian Women’s team is all set to feature in a Test match against Australia in September. However, no official confirmation by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been given on it.

Women in Blue to play 1 Test in Australia in September this year

It’s not the Men in Blue this time, who already have a tight schedule for 2021-22, but the Women in Blue will be touring to Australia for a Test match later this year. If reports are to be believed, this tour is likely to happen in September this year. The two sides were last seen playing against each other in 2020 in the World Cup final. However, it was Australia who emerged victorious Down Under.

Indian Women to travel to England with the Men’s team

This is for the first time in history that the men and women’s contingent of India will travel together for their tour of England. On one side, where the Men in Blue will be featuring in the World Test Championship final before featuring in the England Tests, the Women in Blue will be playing a series against England. The two sides will be playing 1 Test, 3 ODIs and as many T20I matches, starting June 16.
