Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Monday announced the revised schedule of India's tour of South Africa. Centurion will host the Boxing Day Test on December 26 followed by New Year's Test in The Wanderers, beginning on January 3.

Cape Town will host the third and final Test beginning on January 11. After the conclusion of the Test series, the action will shift to limited-overs series, where both teams will play 3 ODIs, starting from January 19. The first two ODIs will be played in Paarl, while the final ODI will be played in Cape Town.

Schedule:

1st Test - December 26-30, 2021 - SuperSport Park, Centurion

2nd Test - January 3-7, 2022 - Wanderers, Johannesburg

3rd Test - January 11-15, 2022 - Newlands, Cape Town

1st ODI - January 19, 2022 - Boland Park, Paarl

2nd ODI - January 21, 2022 - Boland Park, Paarl

3rd ODI - January 23, 2022 - Newlands, Cape Town

Earlier, BCCI confirmed that the tour will go ahead with a slight tweak in the schedule despite the outbreak of a new COVID-19 variant, Omicron. Team India was scheduled to play 4 T20Is as well but it now will be played later.
