India ended up winning the 1st ODI on Tuesday by 66 runs after posting a huge total of 317/5. Shikhar Dhawan's brilliant 98 and 112-run partnership between KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya helped them post a massive total. Chasing 318, England started of very well with Jonny Bairstow's 94 but post that 135-run opening-wicket partnership, England kept losing wickets at regular intervals as their middle-order succumbed to the disciplined Indian bowling attack.

10,000 - Virat Kohli became the fastest batsman to score 10,000 ODI runs at home and he is only the 6th player to score 10,000 ODI runs overall.

4 - Prasidh Krishna became the first Indian player to take 4 wickets on debut itself. No other Indian player has picked more than 3 wickets on their ODI debut.

187.1 - Krunal Pandya's S.R of 187.09 is the highest for a player on ODI debut (player who played minimum 25 balls).

12 - Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow recorded their 12th hundred-run plus partnership in ODIs and equaled Eoin Morgan and Joe root's tally of 12 hundred-run plus partnerships in ODIs.

31 - Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan recorded a fifty-plus opening partnership for the 31st time and broke the record of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag.

15 - Krunal Pandya became the 15th Indian player to score a fifty on ODI debut.

127 - Virat Kohli has now won 127 matches as captain in international cricket and with today's win, he went past the likes of Hansie Cronje and stands 6th in the list of captains with most wins in international cricket.
