After the three-match T20I series between India and New Zealand which went 3-0 in favour of the Men in Blue, India will now host the Kiwis for a couple of Test matches, the first of which is set to commence on November 25 at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur. In recent Tests, the Kiwis have had a upper hand over India but this time around the Test matches will be on Indian soil where India boast of an envious record in recent times and even the New Zealand camp is aware that it will not be easy for them against India.

The start of the Test series and the start of a long Test season for India so it could be a bit difficult to predict at what direction the team management is thinking. New Zealand's top-order seems sorted for now and the only question is who they will trust to come good in the bowling department in these conditions. Wriddhiman Saha could be the pick among the keepers but there is very little to choose with Tom Blundell also having 2 Test hundreds to his credit in his young Test career. So include both if possible since they could have a role to play with catches and stumpings given the much-anticipated role of spin in the series.
KL Rahul, who till yesterday was a certain pick in the Fantasy side, has unfortunately been ruled out of the Test series and instead Mayank Agarwal could be picked in his place. Kane Williamson picks himself based on his form and class and Ross Taylor with all the experience that he has won't be that bad an option.
Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and also Axar Patel, if he plays, will be no less than a diamond in these conditions. Mitchell Santner is likely to get a game and will be more threatening that he was in the T20I series. Tim Southee, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Siraj and Kyle Jamieson could be the preferred picks for the pacers.
