As both Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya have found their way back into the national team, the biggest suspense was who will take up the finisher's role. Team India coach Rahul Dravid has left a slight hint. Dravid chose Karthik for the job at the backend.
"With Dinesh, it is clear with the role. At the backend of the game, he can make a difference. That’s why he has been picked, to bat in those positions and deliver for India as well," said Dravid at the Pre-series Press conference.
