Preview
India have already claimed the series by winning the second game and the third T20I will be a chance for Rohit Sharma to bring in players who are warming the bench. Rohit has already declared that he will not shy away from experimenting and the third game will be a perfect night for that. Ishan Kishan can make way for Ruturaj Gaikwad. Meanwhile, West Indies will look to find the winning combination. After being in control for most of the part while bowling, the visitors leaked a lot of runs at the death. Also, they need to try a different opening pair as Brandon King is not going along well with Kyle Mayers.
Pitch Report
The Eden Gardens pitch is a paradise for batters. However, the quick bowlers have a role to play early in the innings with the swing on offer. Spinners also get some help in the first innings but once the dew sets in, it becomes too easy for the batters. The same is expected for the last game as well.
Team Analysis
India: Having won the series already, Rohit Sharma will be open to experiments. Ishan Kishan has found it hard to break free at the top of the order. So, he may make way for Ruturaj Gaikwad. With Virat Kohli unavailable, Shreyas Iyer is all set to get a chance. Yuzvendra Chahal may be left out to accommodate Kuldeep Yadav. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar, and Harshal Patel may get replaced by Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, and Avesh Khan.
West Indies: The visiting camp will not look to make a lot of changes as they would want their best players to get confidence. However, a couple of changes are expected. Brandon King is set to face the axe as he has failed to deliver at the top of the order. He may get replaced by Shai Hope. Pooran and Powell will keep their respective places. In the bowling department, Akeal Hosein can be replaced by Fabian Allen who was left out to accommodate Jason Holder. Dominic Drakes can also be given a chance.
Probable Playing XIs
India: Rohit Sharma (c), Ishan Kishan (wk), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Venkatesh Iyer, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi, Harshal Patel
West Indies: Shai Hope, Kyle Mayers, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Rovman Powell, Kieron Pollard (c), Jason Holder, Odean Smith, Fabian Allen, Roston Chase, Romario Shepherd/Dominic Drakes, Sheldon Cottrell
Match Prediction
