The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced the India women squads for the one-off Test, ODI and T20I series for their tour of Australia. The ODI series will start from September 19 in Sydney with following two games scheduled in Melbourne on September 22 and 24. The ODI series will followed by India’s first-ever day-night Test in Perth, which will be played from September 30 to October 3. The tour will conclude with three T20Is on October 7, 9 and 11 in Sydney.

Mithali Raj has been named the captain for the historic day-night Test and the ODI series while Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the visitors in the T20I series. The Indian team will leave for Down Under on August 29 and will undergo two-week long quarantine before the series begins on September 19. Notably, Renuka Singh Thakur and Yastika Bhatia are the new faces in the T20I squad.
