That's all we have in the Indian Super League. A result with serious ramifications in terms of the league winners' shield and AFC Champions League qualification. Coverage brought to you by Nived Zenith, see you again tomorrow!

Take nothing away from Jamshedpur, who were the better side all throughout. Owen Coyle got his tactics spot on and both his substitutes ended up scoring the goals as well. Probably their best result of the season. The night belonged to Farukh Choudhary, who was deemed surplus to requirements at Mumbai City in January. What an outstanding display by the forward against his former team, big statement from Farukh.

What a result. Mumbai City have slipped up again and the league winners' shield is not in their hands now. The Islanders need ATK Mohun Bagan to drop points, will it happen? Sergio Lobera will be extremely disappointed after his team slumped to successive defeats in the league for the first time this term. Night to forget at the Tilak Maidan for Mumbai City.

PEEEEP! PEEEEEEP! PEEEEEEEEEEP! FULL TIME: JAMSHEDPUR FC 2-0 MUMBAI CITY FC

[90+1'] GOOOOOOOAAL, GRANDE FINISH! - Aitor Monroy threads a delicate pass in behind for David Grande, who maintains his composure before tucking it past Amrinder Singh. Jamshedpur have sealed the game, Mumbai City are crestfallen in Vasco. Grande reels away in celebration after netting his second goal of the season, game, set and match for the Red Miners in all probability. 2-0!

[90'] FIVE MINUTES ADDED ON by the fourth official at the Tilak Maidan.

[89'] FARUKH DENIED! - Jamshedpur shot-stopper Rehenesh hoofs the ball up the field and the Mumbai City defenders have allowed Farukh Choudhary to get in behind. The forward races through on goal and wraps his foot around the ball on the bounce, but Mumbai City custodian Amrinder Singh does well to grab the ball and snuff out danger.

CHANGE FOR JAMSHEDPUR: Nerijus Valskis OFF, David Grande ON

[83'] HEADER FLIES WIDE! - Mourtada Fall peels away from his marker to leap high and get on the end of an inviting delivery from a corner by Cy Goddard. However, the Mumbai City defender is unable to guide his header into the far corner as it flashes wide of the target. Jamshedpur need to stay alert.

[79'] FOUL, YELLOW CARD! - The referee has brandished a booking to Cy Goddard for pulling back Jamshedpur midfielder Alex Lima to prevent him from breaking away on the counter.

[76'] DRINKS BREAK: Jamshedpur FC 1-0 Mumbai City FC; Boris Singh has netted his first ever goal in the Indian Super League to hand Jamshedpur a deserved lead in Vasco. The Red Miners have a habit of conceding late, but if they hold on here, this could be a hugely-significant result for not just them but ATK Mohun Bagan as well.

Things have gone from bad to worse for Mumbai City. As things stand, they are staring at ATK Mohun Bagan opening up a five-point lead with just two games remaining in the league phase. Should they fail to produce a comeback, Mumbai City will move one step closer to missing out on finishing first and the AFC Champions League qualification that comes with it.

[72'] GOOOOOOAAAAAAL! JAMSHEDPUR LEAD! - Aitor Monroy sends in a low corner towards the near post. Although the delivery is poor, Ahmed Jahouh has made a mess of clearing it. Farukh Chouhdary then nudges it towards goal but Mumbai City custodian Amrinder blocks it. Substitute Boris Singh is at the right place at the right time to pick on the loose ball and he stabs home from close range. Jamshedpur are ahead, 1-0!

SUBSTITUTION FOR JAMSHEDPUR: Len Doungel OFF, Boris Singh ON

[66'] YELLOW CARD! - Jamshedpur marksman Nerijus Valskis has received a booking for dissent after he kicks the ball away in frustration. The Lithuanian will now miss the next game due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

[63'] CROSS FLASHED ACROSS GOAL! - Farukh Choudhary is heavily involved in the build-up for Jamshedpur yet again. The forward produces a clever exchange with Nerijus Valskis before darting in towards the edge of the area. Farukh spots Len Doungel on the far side and flashes a low cross across goal, but it has too much purchase and the ball rolls out of play for a goal-kick to Mumbai City before his teammate can get on the end of it.

[57'] CORNER TO MUMBAI CITY! - Bipin Singh receives the ball from Mandar and races towards the byline on the left. The Mumbai City winger then attempts to whip in a cross, but Stephen Eze does well to get across and block it behind for a corner. Jamshedpur comfortably deal with the resulting corner-kick.

[51'] CRUCIAL TOUCH! - Farukh Choudhary produces a delightful flick inside the Mumbai City penalty area to leave Hernan Santana on the floor. Although the Jamshedpur forward is close to tucking the ball away, Amrinder Singh comes off his line quickly and gets a vital touch on the ball to push it away from danger. Mumbai City breathe a collective sigh of relief.

SUBSTITUTION FOR MUMBAI CITY: Jackichand Singh OFF, Bipin Singh ON

[46'] PEEEEEP! WE'RE BACK LIVE! - Mumbai City FC get us underway in the second half, the Islanders are playing from left to right in their sky blue home kit and seeking an improvement from their lackluster display so far.

Live action from the second half coming your way on the other side, stay tuned!

Mumbai City will be disappointed. The Islanders have not fired on all cylinders. Sergio Lobera will certainly demand more in the second half. If they do not come out with the right intent, Mumbai City could suffer as well. Amrinder Singh was lucky to escape a catastrophe, it has been that kind of a night so far for the team. Need a response after the interval.

Surprisingly, Jamshedpur FC have been the better side so far. That chance for Nerijus Valskis stands out, but they have also made other forays inside the Mumbai City half. Isaac Vanmalsawma has been a real breath of fresh air on the left, while Farukh Choudhary is also benefiting from a more central role. Owen Coyle will be happy, but he knows that nothing amounts to the satisfaction of actually being ahead.

PEEEEP! PEEEEEEEEEP! HALF TIME: JAMSHEDPUR FC 0-0 MUMBAI CITY FC

[45'] TWO MINUTES ADDED ON by the fourth official at the Tilak Maidan.

[40'] AMRINDER SURVIVES A SCARE! - Farukh Choudhary produces a clever dink to try and release Len Doungel, but Amrinder Singh comes off his line to smother. The Mumbai City shot-stopper has uncharacteristically spilled the ball after holding on at first and Len pounces on it. Although the Jamshedpur defender twisted from an acute angle to try and get his shot away, Hernan Santana did enough to win a foul off him. Amrinder and Mumbai City can breathe again.

[39'] VALSKIS HEADS IT OVER! - Jamshedpur break away quickly with Isaac Vanmalsawma on the left. The Mizo winger has produced a peach of a cross and it is planted straight on the head of Nerijus Valskis. Despite connecting well from close-range, Valskis is unable to keep his header down. Good opportunity missed by the Jamshedpur marksman.

[38'] HEADER OFF TARGET! - Mumbai City have another free-kick and Ahmed Jahouh whips it towards Mourtada Fall at the far post. The defender leaps over his man, but his header is off target.

Jamshedpur deal with the resulting corner without any fuss. Mumbai City must do better from the delivery though.

[33'] CORNER TO MUMBAI CITY! - Ahmed Jahouh delivers in an excellent free-kick into the penalty area. Although Mourtada Fall peeled away from his marker to sneak in behind, a vital interception from a Jamshedpur defender has prevented him an opening as the ball peters out for a corner.

[30'] DRINKS BREAK: Jamshedpur FC 0-0 Mumbai City FC; Both teams have not enjoyed any notable clear-cut chances yet. Jamshedpur have been brave though, they are looking to get into the right areas. Mumbai City will know they haven't hit top gear in the opening exchanges.

[27'] FOUL BY RICKY! - Jamshedpur full-back Ricky Lallawmawma has prevented Jackichand Singh from skipping past him by bringing the Mumbai City winger down. The referee has blown the whistle for a foul straightaway.

[25'] HEADER FLASHED WIDE! - Good patient build-up play from Jamshedpur and Isaac Vanmalsawma aims a cross towards Nerijus Valskis at the far post. The Lithuanian climbs above his man, but is unable to direct his header on target. Replays suggest the cross was dipping slightly as it came to Valskis, who probably did not get the desired connection on it as well.

[22'] CAN'T KEEP IT DOWN! - Laldinliana Renthlei does an excellent job to spin around his man before whipping in a good cross from the byline for Jamshedpur. Farukh Chaudhary gets on the end of the delivery, but the attempted first-time volley from the Jamshedpur forward has sailed over the cross-bar. No trouble for Mumbai City.

[19'] SHOT FIRED WIDE! - Jamshedpur FC deliver a free-kick deep into the Mumbai City penalty area and Mourtada Fall leaps high to head it away from goal. However, the weak clearance falls kindly for Len Doungel, who attempts to go for goal. Unfortunately for Jamshedpur, the effort has flashed wide of the target.

[17'] FOUL ON FARUKH! - Not plenty of goal-mouth action here at the Tilak Maidan. Mourtada Fall is penalised by the referee for clipping the heels of Jamshedpur forward Farukh Choudhary.

[9'] FOUL ON LE FONDRE! - The Mumbai City striker is pushed from behind by Jamshedpur captain Peter Hartley and the referee blows the whistle for a foul straightaway. Ahmed Jahouh sends the free-kick into the area, but Rowllin Borges is unable to connect with his wild swing at the ball.

[1'] PEEEEEEP! WE'RE UNDERWAY! - Jamshedpur FC kick-off proceedings in the first half, the Red Miners are playing from left to right in their traditional red home kit.

Both sets of players disperse after the national anthem and pose for the customary team photo. Captains Peter Hartley and Amrinder Singh will now meet for the coin toss.

Now Jamshedpur FC follow their counterparts out of the tunnel, the Red Miners are in their traditional red home kit for the clash.

Mumbai City FC are the first team walking out towards the lush green grass at the Tilak Maidan, the Islanders are donning their sky blue home kit.

Adam Le Fondre (Striker, Mumbai City): "I'm here to score the crucial goals, but last week it was not quite enough. As a team we must shake that off and bounce back. Obviously the absence of a quality player like Hugo Boumous leaves a huge void, but there is enough quality in the team to cope with it. We must work together as a unit."

Mumbai City have become the wounded animal in the division now. After securing just one win in their last five outings, the Islanders have slipped to five points behind ATK Mohun Bagan at the top of the table. If they win against Jamshedpur, they could cut the gap to just two points. However, Sergio Lobera and company are looking to bounce back from the 4-2 mauling at the hands of Bengaluru in their last game.

Jamshedpur suffered a late 1-0 defeat to ATK Mohun Bagan in their last outing. The Red Miners are just about staying alive in the race for the playoffs in the hope of winning both their remaining games and results elsewhere going their way. Owen Coyle and company will be hoping to cause an upset against Mumbai City tonight.
